Finding Her Voice
Safi was born deaf and mute due to an undetected brain defect at birth. Without resources, her family could not communicate with her. Care4Africa covered her medical costs, enrolled her in a special school for children with disabilities, and provided American Sign Language (ASL) classes for her and her family.
Today, Safi can communicate for the first time and lives a happy, connected life, surrounded by love and understanding.
