When all hope seems lost, love arrives.
Sometimes, a single moment can change everything
This summer, in the village of Moho, we met 4-year-old Boris — a bright-eyed boy living in a small shack with his father, 8-months-pregnant mother, and 2-year-old brother. His father earns only a few dollars on good days doing odd jobs in the village, but that day he had made nothing… and the family had no food.

Your support can keep families like Boris’s safe, nourished, and full of hope.
We acted immediately
-
Delivered emergency food supplies so they could eat that night.
-
Took Boris’s mother for a prenatal check-up, ensuring both she and the baby were healthy, though malnourished.
-
Opened our home to the family for support and safety during this vulnerable time.
Why This Matters
In the rural communities we serve, there is no safety net. When a crisis strikes, children like Boris can go to bed hungry — and families can lose everything. Care4Africa steps in right away to:
Provide food, water, and medical care
Offer temporary shelter and clothing
Cover school fees and essentials
Give small grants to stabilize a family’s income
Our Plan for Boris’s Family
-
Monthly food allowance
-
Better living conditions before the baby arrives
-
